Under the 7th Pay Commission, there will be a good increase in the salaries of the employees to increase the DA of the government.  At present, DA accounts for 17% of basic salary.  When this increases to 17 to 28 percent (17 + 3 + 4 + 4) then the salary will increase a lot.  After the implementation of DA, the provident fund of central employees will also increase.  It is to be noted that the calculation of PF contribution of central employees is done with the formula of Basic Salary Plus DA.
