Gadkari announced in Parliament - GPS toll tracker will be removed on all highways, plazas in a year

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has made a big announcement in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. Nitin Gadkari has said that the government is working on a plan to abolish all toll plazas in the next one year. In the coming time, with the help of technology, people will have to pay the same toll as they will walk on the road.

Actually, BSP MP from Amroha, Kunwar Danish Ali raised the issue of having a toll plaza in the municipal limits on the road near Garh Mukteshwar.

Responding to this, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that in order to add a little more rubbish to the contracts of road projects in the previous government, many such toll plazas have been constructed which are on the border of the city.

This is definitely wrong and unjust.
The system of taking tolls will be abolished in a year by fully implementing the fast tag: Nitin Gadkari, Transport and Road Transport Minister

Nitin Gadkari said that now if the toll plazas are removed, then the road construction company will ask for compensation. But the government has planned to 'eliminate all tolls' in the country in the next one year.

The Union Minister said that ending the toll means ending the toll plaza. Now the government is working on such a technique in which the camera will take your photo with the help of GPS from where you will climb on the highway, and where you get off the highway will take the photo of the same, thus paying the toll of the same distance.
It is worth noting that the issue of frequent jams and problems caused to passengers due to toll plazas has been arising for a long time. Right now the central government has implemented the facility of fastag on all the national highways, so that vehicles can automatically fill the toll on the toll plaza without the line.
FASTag compulsory across the country from today onwards, you have to pay double amount if you do not apply
Now the way will be easy on Yamuna Expressway, Fastag will be paid on toll
