Guru and Saturn are two large planets in Capricorn from 20 November 2020. After about 60 years, these two planets have got together in Capricorn. But above all, this time is going to be a coincidence that will happen after about 799 years.

According to astronomers, Guru and Saturn will be seen very closely in the sky between December 16 and December 25. Because this planet is the outer neighbor of the earth, so coming so close to the earth in itself creates amazing yoga, but according to Jyotishacharya Sakshi Sharma, what will be the effect of this yoga on your zodiac.

This year, ie 2020, the month of November is special because of Diwali and at the same time many astrological coincidences are being made in this month which can change your luck. Under this, where Saturn is already seated in Capricorn, Devguru Jupiter is also entering Capricorn on 20 November and Saturn and Guru will remain together in this stage till 05 April 2021.

Today is Winter Solstice. I.e. the smallest day of the year. Last year the Winter Solstice came on December 22nd. But, this time it’s December 21st. Earlier in 2017, Winter Solstice also came on December 21.

Why is this day so small? Could a day other than December 21st and 22nd be the smallest day of the year? What does solstice mean and how many types are there? Does it also have an effect on the weather? Let's find out ...

Why do days get bigger and smaller?

  • This is because the earth is tilted. In fact, not just the earth. But each planet in the solar system is tilted at a different angle. Our earth also tilts 23.5 degrees on its axis. Due to the fact that the earth is tilted on its own axis, or rotating around its own axis, the time of the sun's rays falling in one place varies on different days of the year.

So today will be the smallest day of the year in the whole world?

  • It's not like that. Today is the smallest day of the year in the countries of the North Hemisphere. Today is the longest day of the year in the South Hemisphere. This is why today is the biggest day of the year in countries like Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
  • The North Hemisphere is tilted towards the sun for six months of the year. This brings direct sunlight into the hemisphere. Areas in the North Hemisphere, meanwhile, have a hot season. The remaining six months the area goes away from the sun and the day starts to get shorter.

Will the length and timing of the smallest day of the year be the same?

  • Different cities need the smallest day of the year today, but the length will vary. In Delhi, for example, the sun will rise at 7.10 am and set at 5.29 pm. I.e. the length of the whole day is 10 hours 19 minutes. In Bhopal, the sun will rise at 6.58 am and set at 5.40 pm. That is, the length of the whole day will be 10 hours 42 minutes.
  • Now, if we talk about one day ago i.e. December 20, the sun rose in Delhi at 7.09 am and set at 5.29 pm. That means the total length of the day was 10 minutes 20 minutes one minute more than today. Whereas, tomorrow i.e. 22nd December the sun will rise at 7.10 am and set at 5.30 pm. That means even tomorrow the length of the day will be one minute more than today.

Why change the date of Winter Solstice? Does the month change too?

  • An Earth year ends in 365.25 days. That is, each year the time when the sun's rays reach the earth for the shortest time shifts by about six hours. For this reason there is a leap year every four years. Which adjusts this time. That is, last year the sun stayed on earth for the shortest time on December 22, this year this day has only happened on December 21.
  • Winter Solstice falls on any one day from December 20, 21, 22 or 23 due to the Earth's one year and adjustment with the Leap Year. However, most of it comes on December 21st and 22nd. This means that the date of the Winter Solstice changes but the month never changes.
  • This is how Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, falls between June 20 and 23. Whereas, March 21 and September 23 are exactly the time of day and night. It's called an equator. That is, on this day the sun is exactly above the Earth's equator.

Does it have an effect on the season as well?
Winter solstice begins to grow cold. Starting today is considered the beginning of cold in the North Hemisphere and the beginning of heat in the South Hemisphere.

Planetary Mass …
According to astrology experts, the combination of Shani and Guru is a Mahasanayoga because both these planets are very influential as well as going at a slow pace. According to Vedic astrology, Saturn changes its zodiac in about two-and-a-half years and the Guru changes its interval in about twelve to thirteen months and thus it takes many years for their union in one zodiac.
